Communication Designer
About The Role:

As our Communication Designer, you’ll own and evolve our visual communications across channels-bringing clarity, consistency, and craft to every touchpoint. You’ll drive high-quality execution and operational excellence while staying hands-on-shipping campaign assets, motion, and web/lifecycle design that move the needle. You’ll need to be based in Europe and you’ll be part of our distributed Design team.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Brand Systems and Design Operations:
- Build and evolve scalable brand systems (foundations, components, templates) that ensure consistency across markets and channels.
- Maintain shared Figma libraries (components, tokens), establish usage guidance in FigJam/Confluence, and track work in Jira.
- Create clear processes for briefs, reviews, versioning, and asset governance to improve quality and speed.
Marketing and Campaign Design:
- Design high‑quality, production‑ready assets for campaigns across paid and organic channels: social, display, print, OOH, presentations, and sales enablement.
- Craft campaign concepts and narratives in collaboration with Brand and Editorial; prepare export‑ready files and manage delivery timelines.
- Produce motion graphics and lightweight animations to bring stories to life (promos, social loops, UI demos).
Digital and CRM:
- Create intuitive, on‑brand web and landing‑page layouts that support performance goals (traffic, sign‑ups, conversion).
- Design lifecycle/email templates and assets; partner with marketers to A/B test and iterate on copy/layout for impact.
- Consider responsiveness and localisation from the start; provide states and content rules that scale globally.
Production, Handoff and Quality:
- Deliver annotated specs for engineering (responsive breakpoints, redlines, motion references, asset bundles).
- Own design QA and on‑time delivery SLAs for assigned streams; perform final checks for fidelity and accessibility.
- Coordinate with vendors when needed (print pre‑flight, color management, materials).
Accessibility and Localisation:
- Design with accessibility in mind (readability, contrast, type hierarchy, motion sensitivity).
- Prepare assets for translation/localisation across global markets; support LTR/RTL typography and multi‑language layouts.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Co‑lead initiatives and partner with client teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to align work, goals, and timelines.
- Manage feedback with clarity and pace; document decisions and share learnings that raise the bar for the team.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role:
- 5+ years as a Visual/Brand/Communication Designer.
- Mastery of Figma; strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Working proficiency in After Effects (or similar) for motion.
- A portfolio that sets a high bar—demonstrating creativity, consistency, and craft across web, campaign, and motion work.
- Structured, organized approach; able to juggle priorities without compromising quality.
- Meticulous attention to detail; ability to translate complex ideas into coherent, scalable visual systems.
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage in our global environment.
- Collaborative, growth‑oriented mindset; comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, distributed team.
What Would Be Plus:
- Experience in fintech or other regulated industries; familiarity with multi‑market brand challenges.
- Accessibility and localisation experience (WCAG basics; LTR/RTL typography).
- Basic front‑end familiarity (HTML/CSS) or CMS tooling; comfortable collaborating with engineers/no‑code builders.
- Analytics/experimentation exposure (contributing inputs to A/B tests, reading simple results with a marketer).
- Video editing, lightweight 3D/illustration, or photography direction.
- Print production and vendor coordination.
- Experience leveraging generative AI in content/motion workflows.
